Question : How many times should we do Surya Namaskar in a day?
Answer :
It is totally depends on the physical abilities of the performer. For normal person min 12 set of Surya Namaskar are advised, there is no Max limit.
Still for those who wish to loose weight and like to do Surya namaskara as cardio excercise, can stretch it upto 108 Surya namaskara per day at one go also.
But personally, I advice to do Surya namaskara slowly, completely with breath awareness, staying into each and every posture for at least 5 seconds, holding breath as and when required.
We should do minimum 12 and maximum 36 Surya namaskara.
With complete awareness of mind, body, breath, High Concentration and balance.

How I started....
I never knew yoga could make me sweat until I tried Surya Namaskar, Ihave never been active since my childhood and was fat . So,when I browsed for promising ways to lose weight I bumped into Surya Namaskar Initially I started (2018)with 4 rounds and now I can do upto 54 rounds (108 reps)
The changes I have experienced
Physically,
Initially I had pain in my back and legs (I should have been doing it wrong ,but it subsided eventually)
Feeling more flexible
Improved posture .
Lost inches

- I believe it's perseverance that takes us to the next level, that is what sun salutations has taught me and that's how I was able to reach 108 reps.
- I usually complain a lot, back bite compare me with others but I have stopped doing all these (may be because am becoming aware of me and started working on my flaws )
